My two trips today!

My poor little man is sick, so I had to stay at home with him. That allowed me to update the site a ton, and get my coupons in order for this week! When he was feeling better, we decided to go out to a couple of the stores! We started at Tops, and grabbed diapers at CVS. Here is what we got:

I had to buy them in two separate orders, (my bf's card, and then mine) because of the limit.

They were on sale for $6.99, and get $2 ECB.
My first transaction I received my $2 ECB's and coupons for an additional $7 off in the future! I asked the cashier why I received those and she didn't know. Sooo.. the total for my first transaction after ECB's was a $2 money maker! (For my OOP expense, I used my gift card that I received for free last week)

Then for my second transaction, I also received more coupons. A total of $7 in ECB's, plus the $2 for buying the diapers! Sooo, this was also a $2 money maker! Thank you CVS!

Here is my next trip: to Tops! This was a good trip overall, but the Chef Boyardee wasn't the best deal out there- I needed them though, they're easy to pack for my son's lunches, so it helped. The corn, I needed but didn't have a coupon for.

Total Saved: $38.64
Percent Saved: 56.3 %

My percentage wasn't the best, but I have found that saving more than 70% here in NY is not as common as saving 95% in Ohio!! It's crazy how much more expensive groceries are here!
